We enjoyed our stay at Wannigan Point Cabins! It was a short walk down a little path to the river which made the fishermen among us happy and not far to downtown Taylors Falls. The cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen and was very clean. The hosts were so welcoming too. We’ll be back!
My husband and I loved that our cabin was only about a 15-minute walk from great hikes on Interstate Park and a less-than-5-minute drive. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Coffee Talk in Taylors Falls and great restaurants like The Vegetarian across the river in St. Croix Falls. Our cabin was clean and peaceful, and the jacuzzi tub was a wonderful bonus we didn’t expect. I also loved the bird songs in the trees all around the cabins. Great stay—hope to come back again soon!
Great little area with 5 cabins and two fire pits. Be sure to bring wood because the local has station was completely out. Each cabin has its own picnic table and gas grill. The cabins come with everything needed, but just be aware that it's a small refrigerator, so you may need to use a cooler as a backup if you bring a lot of cold items. We'll be back!
The location is fantastic ,and just a short walk to the state park and there’s a great coffee shop right down the street . The cabins are very clean and well furnished with all the essentials and then some! The overall experience was wonderful. A true rustic natural getaway ,but with all the conveniences you might require. Definitely going back! Update: had another great stay at the cabins and it's just as good as it was the last time. So relaxing and serene but this time I went when there wasn't snow, still just as beautiful. I recommend it for a quiet getaway for two or a great way to take your kids on a tour of the state park!
We really enjoy staying here. This was our second time, but first time in the winter. The cabin had everything we needed, and it's moments from the river and a beautiful park. There are 5 cabins there, but it is very private. And we walked to the little town nearby to see the Christmas lights! We'll be back.
A cute little cabin that fit my family of 4 comfortably. Also had room to have local family come visit without feeling crowded. It has a cute full kitchen area and its own bathroom. Nice fire pit outside as well. Will stay here again!
Great place! Loved it. Very clean. Cabins & grounds well taken care of. Beautiful grounds, lots of perennials & 2 nice fire pits . We had the jacuzzi cabin, nice! Full size kitchen fridge & stove. Fully stocked with basically everything you need. A gas grill for each of the 5 cabins. Unfortunately ours didn't work right so grabed a different one. We will definitely be back!
Great atmosphere, especially in the winter. Cabins have all the necessary amenities, bed, kitchen, bathroom, shower, tv and WiFi. There was a tubing hill just a couple miles away, our family spent hours sliding down the different tubing slides. Then back to a cozy warm cabin. I call that a successful mini vacation :)
